from the beach bar and sun loungers and shades are available. This is the
perfect spot to lie back and relax with a good book, whilst enjoying the
unspoilt scenery. The Bogaz has seasonal indoor and outdoor pools. Bogaz
is close to the Karpas peninsula, or ‘pan-handle’ as it is also known,
after its distinctive shape. It is well worth hiring a car a few
days to visit this area of rugged unspoilt beauty, which is home to many
rare species of
plant and wildlife. The beaches here are deserted, which is one of the
reasons why they are
chosen as a nesting place by the rare loggerhead and green turtles. |

Bogaz, approximately 16 miles north of Famagusta, overlooking the
sandy beach. Bogaz is a tiny village with a handful of local
restaurants. Due to its secluded
location, we would recommend car
hire.

There is a bar and restaurant where meals are

nights.
