A
new penthouse apartment is available for holiday
rental, situated in a quiet residential area,
behind the new harbour and close to
Kyrenia
Old Harbour and town. The third floor apartment
is in a block of 6 flats and has undercover
parking. A total of 18
apartments
share the 14 x 7 metre communal pool, which has
a uniform depth of 1.5 metres. It is an ideal
place to relax and
unwind
in the newly planted gardens.
Each flat has a ground floor storage room which
contains sun beds with pads, small tables
and
parasols.
The apartment is close to supermarkets, shops,
restaurants and hotels. The sea and both
harbours are within
walking
distance, with unspoilt beaches from a distance
of only two kilometres.
There are two air conditioned bedrooms,
one
double,
one twin, sleeping four adults, however, we can
also sleep an additional small child.
Friends have the flat next to ours,
so
a larger family group of 8/9 could be
accommodated. Both bedrooms have fitted
wardrobes, a chair, an alarm clock and
hairdryer.

The spacious air conditioned lounge has a unit with a mini hi-fi and a
storage cupboard with games and
tourist information. A
breakfast bar with four stools is for dining indoors. The kitchen is
fully equipped including
dishwasher, fridge freezer,
washing
machine, microwave, toaster, electric oven, gas hob and extractor hood.
Plug sockets are 3 square pin as
in All the floors are
tiled and windows are double glazed with shutters.
The bathroom is complete with toilet, hand basin and shower. Towels and
bed linen are provided but not
towels for the pool and
beach. The apartment will be cleaned at the end of each week of your stay
and towels and bed linen
changed. A welcome pack
will be provided consisting of essential groceries.
A large patio is equipped with table, six chairs and a
parasol. It also incorporates a
built-in barbeque and has lovely
sea and
mountain views with a stunning sunset over the castle
and sunrise over the mountains. |

Turtle beach at Alagadi is worth a visit at night, hoping to see a turtle
lay her eggs or during the day to see
baby turtles hatching
and entering the sea.
There
are many fabulous, reasonably priced and
very varied restaurants and apart from
relaxing by the
pool or
on the various unspoilt beaches, there
are also plenty of interesting places to
visit:
Roman ruins at Salamis and Soli;
Vouni Palace; Crusader Castles at Kyrenia, Buffavento, St Hilarion and Kantara;
Bellapais Abbey, churches and museums;
Nicosia old city and mosque and the undeveloped Karpaz Peninsular.
There is peaceful, traffic free, walking
in the Five Finger
Mountains, which have
masses of wild flowers in the
spring.

The hire of a car for your stay in Northern Cyprus would enable you to
make the most of this interesting and beautiful
island.
Driving is on the left as in UK. Currency is Turkish Lira.
Most Turkish Cypriots speak English and all are extremely helpful
and
friendly. It is a very safe holiday destination.
We
can arrange airport transfers, car hire and
advice on booking flights if required.
Flights
from UK to Ercan in Northern Cyprus (30 min
transfer) have to land for a short while in
Turkey.
However,
it is now possible to fly to Larnaca, in
Southern Cyprus, and hire a taxi from Kyrenia
(just over an hour) to transfer
you
from the airport.
