Located
approximately six miles from the centre of Farmagusta, the
Park Hotel is set on a long stretch of golden sand.
Originally built as an officers' mess, the Park Hotel, with
its stone flowers, timber furnishings and subdued lighting,
retains a certain sense of grandeur. The air-conditioned
rooms have recently been refurbished and each has a
telephone, mini-bar, TV, en suite bath, wc and a balcony,
most of which have sea views. All floors are served by a
lift. The large seawater swimming pool is located next to
the beach and surrounded by sunbathing terraces where
loungers and shades are available. Drinks and snacks are
served from the beach bar and meals are served in the large
indoor restaurant or outdoors on the terrace according to
the season. There are also four tennis courts and a casino.
A daily courtesy bus service runs to Farmagusta although car
hire is recommended.
